UNDIP, Semarang (28/5) – Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) once again made a proud achievement at the national level through the success of 6 (six) teams of the Student Organization Capacity Building Program (PPK Ormawa) which passed the 2026 funding from the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.
Based on the Letter of the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs Number 1752/DST/B2/DT.01.01/2026 dated May 21th, 2026 regarding the funding of PPK Ormawa 2026, Universitas Diponegoro has successfully delegated six sub-proposals for funding from various student organizations. This achievement is proof of UNDIP students commitment in presenting an innovative, impactful, and sustainable community empowerment program.
Rector of UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si. admitted proud of the achievement that had been achieved.
“This achievement is in line with the spirit of Diktisaintek Berdampak which encourages universities to produce real benefits for the community. I appreciate the students, accompanying lecturers, and the entire team who have worked hard to successfully obtain national funding. Now the next challenge is to ensure that every program can provide a measurable, sustainable, and directly felt impact by the community that is accompanied,” he said.
Vice Rector of Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M. expressed his appreciation to the six teams that passed the funding as well as reminding that this success brings new challenges that must be answered with real work to realize what has been written in the sub-proposal.
The success of the funding PPK Ormawa UNDIP in 2026 is also inseparable from the support of the PPK Ormawa UNDIP Task Force Team. Ir. Daud Samsudewa, S.Pt., M.Si., Ph.D., IPM. As a representative of the PPK Ormawa UNDIP Task Force Team, he expressed his appreciation for the achievements of UNDIP students who succeeded in obtaining national funding.
“We, the Universitas Diponegoro Task Force, are very grateful for the achievement of UNDIP who passed 6 PPK Ormawa teams. Furthermore, we will fight together to provide real benefits for the community that is accompanied while upholding the value of UNDIP to be more dignified and convenient. For other UNDIP student organizations, it is hoped to increase the convenience in the community so that UNDIP is more noble and valuable to the community,” he said.
The implementation team of PPK Ormawa UNDIP admitted that they were happy with this achievement. One of the team representatives expressed gratitude and pride for the achievement. “Like a door that opens a new step for us, the opportunity to pass the funding of PPK Ormawa UNDIP becomes a moment full of gratitude and pride. This opportunity not only marks the success of the long process that we have fought for, but also becomes the beginning for us to be closer to the community through the implementation of the designed program. Every process that is carried out gives many lessons about the meaning of struggle, cooperation, and sincerity in serving. For me, being able to jump directly and provide real benefits to the community is something much more valuable than just an achievement,” said Grace Alice Tiantya Putri from BEM FEB UNDIP.
Students of the PPK Ormawa Implementation Team also assessed that the process of preparing proposals until the final selection became a valuable experience in increasing leadership capacity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in the community.
As for the six PPK Ormawa teams of Universitas Diponegoro that managed to obtain funding, namely:
- The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (BEM FISIP), Universitas Diponegoro through the program “Empowerment of Lanjan Village through the Downstream of Sejiwa Lan Java Coffee in the Bedaya Coffee Movement Program (GKB) to Create a Sustainable Entrepreneurial Village”. This team is led by Listianisa and accompanying lecturer Damaris Bernike Bellastuti, M.A.
- Student Association of the Study Program (HMPS) S1 Business Administration, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro through the program “NATHER: Banana Bio-Leather Innovation through Ecopreneur Empowerment to Create a Sustainable Economy in Banyumeneng Village”. This team is led by Kenneth Achmad Alfariz and assistant lecturer Rendy Ega Pradhana, M.A.B.
- Department of Agriculture Student Association (HMD), Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro through the program “SRIKANDI Up Class: Institutional Transformation and Expansion of Pispong Market Pongangan Village Towards Impactful and Sustainable Business Unit”. This team is led by Adit Maulana and assistant lecturer Dr. Tutik Dalmiyatun, S.Pt., M.Sc.
- The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics and Business (BEM FEB), Universitas Diponegoro through the program “Bejaten Village Transformation Towards a Smart, Empowered, and Sustainable Village Through MENITI Literacy Corner (Mentari Cendekia, Nawasena Tani, Titian Wirausaha). This team is led by Grace Alice Tiantya Putri and assistant lecturer Mohamad Egi Destiartono, SE., M.SE.
- Aquaculture Student Association (HUMAKUA), Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Universitas Diponegoro through the program “WE-SMARTA: Implementation of Smart Aquaculture for Water Quality Optimization and Fish Farming Productivity in Wedung Village, Demak”. This team is led by Anzilatun Nuroniyah and assistant lecturer Dr. Restiana Wisnu Ariyati, S.Pi., M.Si.
- Engineering Study Forum, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Diponegoro through the program “SAHABAT TANI: Smart Rat Pest Control System Based on Ultrasonic and Biopepticide with Solar Energy for Sustainable Smart Farming in Brongkol Village”. This team is led by Umbu Gita Nissidhei Zendrato and accompanying lecturer Enda Wista Sinuraya, S.T., M.T.
The PPK Ormawa UNDIP is a prestigious program of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology among students, and aims to increase the capacity of student organizations through community empowerment activities based on innovation, collaboration, and sustainability. This program becomes a forum for students to develop leadership, problem-solving skills, and present a real impact to the community through various service activities.
This achievement also strengthens UNDIP’s position as a university that actively encourages the development of students’ soft skills through innovation-based community service and cross-disciplinary collaboration programs. Through the success of the PPK Ormawa 2026 funding, UNDIP is optimistic to continue producing students who are adaptive, creative, and impactful for the wider community in accordance with the spirit of “Noble and Valuable UNDIP”.
