UNDIP, Semarang (6/2) – Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Universitas Prasetiya Mulya on Friday, February 6th, 2026 at 03:00 PM in the Rector’s Courtroom on the 2nd floor Widya Puraya Building, UNDIP, Semarang. The signing was done by the Rector of Universitas Diponegoro, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si., and Rector of Universitas Prasetiya Mulya, Dr. Hassan Wirajuda, S.H., MALD., LL.M., SJD.
The purpose of signing a memorandum of understanding is to enhance collaboration of education implementations, research, and community service activities in accordance with the authority of Universitas Diponegoro and Universitas Prasetiya Mulya.
Rector of Universitas Diponegoro, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si., welcomes this cooperation and expresses appreciation to Universitas Prasetiya Mulya as the first party for the opportunity given. “It is an honor for Universitas Diponegoro to be chosen by Universitas Prasetiya Mulya to establish collaboration. Of course we are open to this collaboration. There will be many things, collaboration opportunities and other needs that we can discuss further,” said Prof. Suharnomo.
In the meeting, Prof. Suharnomo also said that according to the direction of the Minister and Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology so that the university can be relevant and beneficial to the community, Universitas Diponegoro has various community service programs.
We mobilize UNDIP’s Community Service (KKN) students to help handle stunting in the KKN area in Brebes Regency with the Faculty of Public Health’s students. In addition, he worked with Liverpool University to handle metal waste.
Rector of Universitas Prasetiya Mulya, Dr. Hassan Wirajuda, S.H., MALD., LL.M., SJD., revealed that it was an honor to be accepted by Universitas Diponegoro. “Hopefully not only a memorandum of understanding, but to carry out what insides the memorandum of understanding. Universitas Prasetiya Mulya which is still developing call to learn from Universitas Diponegoro,” he conveyed.
The signing ceremony was also witnessed by the Vice Rector of Research, Innovation, Collaboration, and Public Communication, Wijayanto, S.IP., M.Si., Ph.D.; Director of Innovation and Cooperation, drh. Dian Wahyu Harjanti, Ph.D; Deputy Director of Partnership and Connectivity Global, Pulung Widhi Hari Hananto, S.H., M.H., LLM.; and Administrative Manager of the Directorate of Innovation and Cooperation, Mas Anantha Budhy Prakusa, S.T., M.Si.
