Guangzhou, China (6/5) – The Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences of Universitas Diponegoro (FPIK UNDIP) has officially established a partnership with PT Haida Agriculture Indonesia through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) on April 24, 2026. The signing ceremony took place in Guangzhou, China, as a strategic initiative to strengthen the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education.
The MoA was signed by Prof. Agus Trianto, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., Dean of FPIK UNDIP, representing the faculty as the first party, and Zhang Zheng, General Manager of Shrimp Feed for Eastern Indonesia at PT Haida Agriculture Indonesia, representing the second party.
The collaboration aims to enhance synergy between the resources and capabilities of both institutions in support of their respective visions and missions. The partnership involves a wide range of academic programs within FPIK UNDIP, spanning undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels.
The participating study programs include the Undergraduate Programs in Aquaculture, Capture Fisheries, Aquatic Resources Management, Fisheries Product Technology, Oceanography, Marine Science, and Fisheries and Marine Business Technology. In addition, the collaboration also covers Master’s and Doctoral Programs in Marine Science and Aquatic Resources Management.
The scope of cooperation encompasses various strategic activities, including collaborative research development, joint seminars, visiting lecturer programs, student internships, practitioner involvement in academic activities, and human resource development. Both parties have also agreed to explore additional areas of cooperation in the future based on mutual interests.
The agreement will remain in effect for five years from the date of signing and may be extended upon mutual consent. Through this partnership, FPIK UNDIP seeks to strengthen collaboration with industry, particularly in aquaculture and animal feed production, thereby sustainably enhancing the quality of education, research, and community service.
